How to Measure & Order
Ordering wallpaper should feel like the start of a project, not a gamble. Every LeFlore & Henry panel is made to order, so a careful measure up front means a wall you'll love for years.
Step 1 — Measure your wall width
Measure the full width of your wall in inches, at both the top and the bottom — older walls are rarely perfectly square, so use the larger number. Divide that number by 30 (the width of our panels) and round up. That's how many panels you need.
Example: A wall 108″ wide ÷ 30″ per panel = 3.6, so you'd order 4 panels.
Step 2 — Measure your wall height
Measure from the top of the wall (or ceiling line) to the top of your baseboard, then choose your panel:
- 30″ W × 48″ H — $85. For walls up to four feet high: above wainscoting, behind shelving, backsplashes, and small feature areas.
- 30″ W × 72″ H — $115. For taller applications and fuller vertical coverage with fewer seams.
Step 3 — Plan for the unexpected
- Measure twice, and measure each wall separately if you're covering more than one.
- For walls with doors or windows, measure the full wall as if the opening weren't there — you'll trim around it during installation.
- Consider one extra panel for large projects: pattern alignment and trimming go smoother with a margin for error.
Not sure? Start with a sample.
Our 30″ W × 20″ H Designer Test Panel ($39) shows you true color, scale, and finish on your actual wall, in your actual light. Every sample purchase includes 25% off your first full wallpaper order, valid for 30 days — so testing first costs you nothing in the end.
